How does it work?
A clear-out pack includes two clear-out bags, FREE return shipping, and an instruction leaflet with some FAQs.
Here's the breakdown:
Earning Credits: For every full bag of clean, wearable children's clothing (ages 0-12 years), you earn £5 in credit – and even more for items we can resell. Check out the list of brands that’ll earn credit HERE.
Simple Steps:
Order Your Clear-Out Pack: click HERE to purchase a pack.
Fill the Bag: Include any clean, wearable items your child has outgrown. Please note: No underwear, socks, baby vests, or babygros, unless they were purchased from us or a brand we love. Ensure the bag is full and items are in wearable condition to secure your £5 credit.
Announce Bag's Return:
When your bag is ready for return, notify us through your online account.
An automated email with return instructions and options will be sent. Keep a record of your tracking number.

What happens to my clothes?
All items will be assessed by our expert team and donated to our clothing bank partners so that they can bring joy to families in need. Items which were purchased from thelittleloop or a brand partner will be sold again onsite. For these items you will earn additional credit. Items which cannot be worn again will be responsibly recycled here in the UK.
What kinds of items will you accept?
We happily welcome any clean, wearable children's clothing items ranging from ages 0 to 12 years.
"Wearable" indicates that the item is in a condition suitable for donation or resale without requiring any additional refurbishment from our end. Please note that the £5 bag credit cannot be awarded if the bag contains unwearable items (those requiring reconditioning or recycling). However, you can still earn credit for wearable items purchased from us or from one of our brands we love.
Please remember that we are unable to accept shoes, underwear, socks, baby vests, or babygros unless they were originally purchased from us or one of our cherished brands.
Additionally, items that are soiled or damaged are not suitable for donation and may impact your £5 credit due to the associated costs for laundering or repair.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the quality of our donations.
Do I need to wash them first?
Yes please. Items which are soiled cannot be passed on to our charity partners for reuse. Please don't worry about minor stains which have been washed but remain. And no need to iron. We use steam to sanitise and reshape if needed
n.b. please wash clothes using a detergent. Unfortunately we have had several incidences of bags of clothing washed with an eco-egg which have not met our strict standards. These items have a distinct smell which takes us lots of washes to remove, meaning we’re sadly unable to offer credit for them.
How much can I earn and what does it cost?
Each FULL clear-out bag of clean, wearable clothes will earn you £5 bag credit. n.b. see HERE for reasons why your bag might not have earned bag credit.
You can also earn credit for items we can resell on our site (those originally purchased from thelittleloop, our brand partners or brands we love), you'll earn 25% of the resale price as credit.
Keep in mind that the resale price varies based on the item's condition, and you can find the estimated amount in your online sale account. Decluttering your children's wardrobes has never been so rewarding!
You can purchase our clear-out pack for a pocket-friendly £2. It includes two clear-out bags and two pre-paid labels. Each FULL bag gets you £5.00 in credit to spend on thelittleloop sale store. So that’s a total of £10 back per pack!

What size are the bags?
The clear-out bags measure 56cm in length and 45cm in width. On average, they can comfortably accommodate 15-20 kidswear items, more for baby items.
How full do the bags need to be?
A "full bag" for us means it is filled as much as possible but can still be comfortably closed. Please see image below.
Only full bags will earn £5 credit.
Reasons why a bag does not earn bag credit
A heads up about bag credit.
You won’t get bag credit if:
The bag isn’t full
Items need laundering
Item’s are damaged
Items can't be donated or resold and need recycling instead
Contains items we can't accept: shoes, underwear, socks, baby vests, or babygros unless they're from us or a brand we love
Even if your bag doesn't get credit, rest assured, we'll still responsibly repurpose those items. Plus, wearable items from our favourite brands will still earn credit.
Thanks for understanding and for responsibly repurposing your children’s outgrown items.
