Extreme stain removal

Starting off

With any stain, we recommend rinsing the stain off from behind to push it back the way it came, not deeper into the fabric.

Greasy stains

For pasta sauce, butter, pizza and chocolate stains we find that sprinkling baking powder on the stain for 5-10mins and then rinsing it with washing up liquid works wonders. If the stain is still there after this step that's when we'll go in with our stain remover bar using a toothbrush to really work the fabric. [As seen in the video below]

Avoid setting stains permanently

Other general tips would be to avoid using a tumble dryer as the heat will set stains permanently into the fabric. UV light (as in bright sunshine) also bleaches stains and breaks down pigmented molecules, so drying your clothes in the sun can also help stains fade over time.
